LOT fail more. Seriously.

As for Stencyl, stencyl is horrible, its appearing to be a WEAKER GM but with the underlying code being done in Java, and the officials aren't giving any support on what exactly will be doable, just stating that anything with a kit released will be doable. Ontop of the fact that they have stated that standalone releases won't be available and Stencyl will be designed to upload to THEIR site for online play (Which I'm sure will net them plenty of cash with the ads it'll likely be loaded with).

You know, I think you should go with the N96. Because, iphone, it's touch screen right? so it means, it's life is on the screen. What if You keep on dropping the iphone? Then the screen will be destroyed, or it will break. So you can't use it, coz it's life, the screen is destroyed. But with N96, if the screen breaks, the keypads can still be used.

"One day I bet game-maker will be in jobs"

Ha...Ha ha ha ha ha.

GameMaker will NEVER be used professionally, its far too weak to be a 3D engine, its not open source to those who buy it, it has an extreme amount of limitations, and with XNA/Pro-SDKs/And Middleware taking indie and professional development by storm, GameMaker looks like a mere plaything only to be used for simple Proof of Concept.

Wow, its nice to see how the Mark Defense Force showed up and completely tried to nullify this man's valid opinion. Lets get some things straight.

The extension system is crap: It uses D&D, the entire community agrees its incredibly foolish to use D&D as its much slower

The scripting is crap: Its one of the weakest interpreted languages out there.

The DLL support is crap: It only supports two types of calls and returns...in this day and age...really?

GameMaker is a shoddy program that you use to get used to the swing of development, but after a while ANYONE with true ambition should have the common sense to graduate to a better choice of options: Torque, XnA, Raw C#, Ruby/SDL/RubyGame, PyGame, etc etc.

GameMaker is in no way a decent or unique tool, its out of date and over credited.

Preparing to flame me?

In that case, go look at GarageGame's T2D, Torque X, TGB.
All create 2D games and support code once which allows you to port your games not only from Windows to Linux/Mac but also to 360 using XnA, if you pay you get full source code on top of other things, sure GG seems money hungry with the stuff packs and registered user only forum sections, but other than that, it blows GM to hell.

I'm a Nokia Slave and will always be. got myself an apple i-touch and its so not user-friendly eventhough the functions is simple enough. battery goes pretty much in a few days and those SWITCH OFF buttons does not work. drained my battery pretty much an instant. When Browsing Safari and listening to music at the same time kills the battery too. I-Tunes program is bad, tried to plug my friend i-touch on my computer and it crashes the whole thing, the program and the phone.
Nokia has better Phone user history whilst I-phone is Apple 1st phone. I've just bought Nokia N96 and cant wait for it to arrive. eventhough i own N95, ever since i laid my eyes on N96, i cant take my eyes off it.. Nokia Rules.

Nokia all the way!!!!
I currently have a N95 and i'm despiratly waiting for the release of the N96.
I have recently come back from a long trip to Europe (I live in Australia), the hotswapable microSD card function ment that i could use my phone as a camera and listen to the radio/mp3's on the bus.
I personally work in retail sales and unless a customer breaks their Ipod the first thing that goes is the battery (Not replacable and not under warrenty!). The Iphone DOES NOT support mms, java or flash.

In my opinion the Iphone is an Itouch with a simcard, really good for what it's designed to do (play music and games approved my apple) but nothing else.

N96 all the way. I'm hanging out for it on Telstra.
Optus sucks when you're in a remote town and need NextG, since Optus 3G covers bugger all of Australia.
Anyway!
iPhone is such a crock.
It's a glorified music player, and that is all.
Why would you want a phone with a crap camera and NO VIDEO RECORDING DEVICE.
Seems like a waste to me.
Plus, you crack that screen and you won't be contacting anyone!

Nokia rocks my socks.

Well I wouldn't listen to that much music in a normal day, but on long car trips things could be different, but I suppose if you had an incar charger it wouldn't really matter
